Gaki no Danjiki presents its first-ever dance production as the second installment of its \u201cTricking\u201d series, which explores physical expression and movement as extensions of acting.
Titled \u201cSTUDY\u201d, this piece was not created to belong solely to Gaki no Danjiki, but was conceived as a shared performance platform across genres and groups.
Through fieldwork and research conducted throughout Japan, the project seeks to generate
a performative language that captures the physicality of present day Japanese \u2014
and the environments that seek to constrain or erase them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
