The theatre collective \u201camuumeru\u201d presents a two-person play performed in caf\u00e9s.
This year, we are also embarking on the \u201camuumeru Caf\u00e9 Theatre in Toyooka Theater Festival\u201d tour, visiting three caf\u00e9s connected to the Tajima region!
\u201cSitting Next to Me\u201d is a relaxed and intimate performance that can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee or tea in hand, as if overhearing a conversation from the next table. Over the course of a slightly peculiar 30 minutes, laughter and sadness unfold right beside you.
And who knows? You might even catch a special appearance by the caf\u00e9 owner or staff!
This tour visits three wonderful caf\u00e9s, each with its own unique character: \u201cSabou Yashiro,\u201d a long- established caf\u00e9 near Toyooka Station; \u201cKominka cafe Okami,\u201d nestled in nature overlooking the Sea of Japan in Kami Town; and “Cafe98\u00b0C” offering panoramic views of the famous Arayu hot spring source and the Yumura Onsen town.
We hope you’ll enjoy discovering how the atmosphere of each venue gently shapes the
experience of the performance.
