Based on Hino7\u2019s contemporary dance solo work “\u03c710 (Kaiju\/monster)”<\/em>, this performance incorporates Fumiya Saito\u2019s surrealistic text, propelling “\u03c710″<\/em> toward a new interpretation. In the original “\u03c710″<\/em>, the work presented the movements of a being with a physical structure entirely different from that of humans as a dance, attempting to expand our understanding of the boundaries of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In “WaRp\/sCaPe\/esCApE”, by adding language\u2014something comprehensible to human beings\u2014the work creates an opportunity for each witness to interpret the seemingly unfamiliar existence through the lens of their own histories.
