A mask workshop and exhibition to create masks through a walk around Toyooka.

In the workshop, participants will walk around Toyooka Station and carefully observe areas that they would not normally look at. They will look for places that they are attracted to (such as wanting to sit, enter, or climb). These places will be likened to faces, and masks will be made under the guidance of a costume designer. At the end, a commemorative photo will be taken with the completed mask and at the location. The starting point of the workshop will be Toyooka Gallery, and after the workshop begins, participants will move to four other locations on a daily basis. Masks will be made using materials such as old clothes collected by costume designers from all over Japan.

The masks and photos that participants have made will be exhibited at the main venue, Toyooka Gallery, during the event, and will be mailed to their homes within one month after the end of the festival. At Toyooka Gallery, participants will be able to see the masks they have made, as well as photos of the places they are associated with, and videos of their walking routes. There will also be a drawing corner at the main venue where visitors can experience designing their own masks. Participation in the exhibition only is free and entry and exit is free.
