"Uzumaku" Theater Festival
“Uzumaku” Theater Festival
(“Uzumaku” is a Japanese word meaning “swirl”)
In addition to artists and audiences, the festival brings together a swirling array of local attractions from Toyooka and other areas in Tajima (northern part of Hyogo Prefecture), such as food, culture, and scenery. The festival offers a space to encounter new worldviews—in the theater, but also at the Meeting Spots and night market.
Venture into the town
There will be a diverse program of events outside the theater, including street performances in the town and the night market, which has become an annual tradition.
