As usual, our performance takes place in a location without any audience seats or a roof over our heads! If it ends up raining, maybe the actors and audience members can bond over it (?). Our performance this year is at a beach, so let’s get covered in sand and splashes of seawater. We will be putting on a musical with the five of us singing non-stop!

<Synopsis>
The soap factory that I had been working at for over 20 years went out of business. In lieu of any severance pay, they sent me off with a ton of soap. I lost my home, too. After sunset, I was drinking away my woes at a food stall on the street. “Well now, where do food stalls come from, and where do they go?” My drunken mind asked this question about 150 times, so I decided to follow a food stall that had closed up for the day. It was resting after weaving through the seam between evening and morning. It yelled at me, saying, “Go away, someone like you should get lost between the cracks of dusk and darkness!” “So you mean we’re in the same boat then,” I thought. A train that isn’t listed on the timetable takes you to the cracks—a spirituals train. They say the passengers sing songs throughout the ride…

Three Pielbergs

Three Pielbergs is an all-weather-proof creative group led by playwright and director Mitsunori Fukuhara that seeks to release its accumulated artistic desires toward the outside world. They are the frontrunners of the Anti-Roof Society. Sword in hand, the unmasked trio swings down a lofty theme: “presenting a momentary escape from the inevitable joys and sorrows of life”!
