- OKUMA RYUTARO
A director and mime performer based in Osaka and Kyoto. He creates theater that uses the magic of mime to shift the everyday into the extraordinary. He also stages numerous immersive theater productions, including works that allow audiences to move freely around large theaters and performances where actors lead tours through the streets. He is the director of the theater company Ichigekiya. He is currently appearing in the nonverbal theater production *Gear*. He is an artist in the Street Theater Global Talent Development Project “STRANGE Lab.”

This is a participatory walking-theater piece. Audience members will walk while wearing earphones. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. The event will take place in light rain but will be canceled in case of heavy rain.
