“Tsugihagi no Basho (Umi): A Living Collage of the Sea”
María de los Ángeles Pais
Tsugihagi no Basho (Umi) is a site-responsive research project that collects, arranges, and relates fragments that rehearse narratives.
Through walking, choreographic explorations, observation, encounters, and the gathering of stories, images, and materials, the project traces multiple narratives of the sea, the coastal territory, and the people who inhabit it.
