U.MANI.TÀ is an innovative, original and creative performance by Jacopo Tealdi’s Teatro Maniare. An entirely unique genre, Manual Theatre is a fusion of figure theatre, narrative theatre and gestural dance realised with bare hands; U.MANI.TÀ’s shows use a light frame as a stage and ‘handmade’ characters as actors, realised through fingerplay. The show is based on a series of ‘handmade’ characters, realised through fingerplay. Jacopo Tealdi (Turin, 1986) is an actor, mime, writer, director and researcher. He has developed manual theatre with shows that have toured the world, acting with great simplicity with his bare hands.
