- Daijiro Harada and Masaharu Sato
In today’s world, where printed literature is gradually fading from everyday life, this unique collaboration offers a bold invitation to rediscover the beauty of Japanese literature. Actor Daijiro Harada and percussionist-composer Masaharu Sato—known for his work with the avant-garde group Hikashu—join forces in a groundbreaking performance.
Harada’s powerful voice and at times almost haunting physical expression, paired with Sato’s passionate and spontaneous music—crafted using instruments from around the world—create a vibrant fusion of spoken word and sound.
Through this immersive experience, audiences not only reconnect with the richness of Japanese literature in an engaging way, but also come closer to a new cultural world of sound and expression.
